Edelweiss opened a new center for travel inspiration at Zurich Airport. In The Circle, visitors have been able to interactively discover the world of the leisure airline since August 25, 2026. Spanning approximately 300 square meters, the new Edelweiss Hub combines digital experiences with travel information.

The hub extends over two floors. The publicly accessible ground floor focuses on travel inspiration. Visitors can virtually experience various destinations with VR glasses and test their geographical knowledge with the Edelweiss GeoQuiz. A café and a selection of Edelweiss merchandise complement the offerings.

Discover Destinations Virtually

With this new experience world, Edelweiss aims to bring its brand and holiday destinations closer to guests, partners, and employees in an interactive way. The virtual journey with VR glasses provides a view of destinations worldwide without leaving the airport.

Until the end of 2026, the hub will feature destinations such as Las Vegas, the Dominican Republic, and Egypt. These destinations aim to inspire visitors for their next holidays.

Also for Training and Meetings

The upper floor of the Edelweiss Hub is used for assessment and training formats, among other things. It also houses the Customer Experience & Product Hub. This area showcases Edelweiss's brand identity, service promise, and products across various stages of the customer journey.

In addition to the travel experience, the new location will also offer space for encounters, meetings, and events. Edelweiss describes the hub as a platform for exchange and collaboration with partners from destinations and tourism organizations.

New Location in The Circle

The Edelweiss Hub officially opened on August 25, 2026, in The Circle at Zurich Airport. Edelweiss CEO Bernd Bauer, Chief Commercial Officer Patrick Heymann, and representatives from Flughafen Zürich AG attended the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The hub is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On Thursdays, visitors can visit until 8:00 PM.

Open Days in September

Those interested in exploring the new Edelweiss Hub will have an additional opportunity at the end of September. On September 25 and 26, 2026, Edelweiss will host two open days. During these days, interested parties can discover the new experience world and its various offerings on site.

With the new hub, Edelweiss not only focuses on digital travel experiences but also creates a publicly accessible place at Zurich Airport where holiday destinations, products, and the brand become directly tangible.
